NCSI Photogrammetry, 3D, and Lidar Community of Practice (CoP) Conference at NGA

NCSI P3DL
Date: 5–9 August, 2019
Location: NCE, Springfield, VA
Event Homepage: NCSI P3DL

The objective of the Photogrammetry, 3D Visualization, and Lidar CoPs is to bring together subject matter experts from throughout NGA and its partners with the common purpose of advancing the principles of photogrammetry, 3D visualization, and lidar. This combined CoP conference is an opportunity to gain an overview of topics related to photogrammetry, 3D visualization, and lidar with colleagues from across the IC, US Government, Academia, and private industry.

The CoPs facilitate technical exchanges of tradecraft and technology in their respective focus areas to support Defense and Intelligence partners.

The Photogrammetry and 3D Visualization CoP focuses on photogrammetry and 3D visualization related topics, including mensuration, geopositioning, as well as visualization and modeling. The Lidar CoP focuses on advances and emerging capabilities in the field of Lidar and 3D point cloud phenomenology.

This includes, but is not limited to, advances in sensors, processing, and exploitation of ground, air, and space-based point clouds – to include lidar, electro-optical, and other sensor modalities.

Be sure visit us at the GXP tabletop, and don’t miss geospatial expert Reuben Settergren presenting “Geospatial Analysis with the SOCET GXP® Python API.”
