GEOINT Symposium Lightning Talk

Space (Domain Awareness): The Final (Geospatial) Frontier

Presented by Mike “Zip” Zipperer; Senior Product Marketing Manager
Tuesday May 20 2025, 1:10 – 1:15pm, Innovation Hub, Exhibit Hall

GEOINT imagery data has always been grounded (pun intended) in earth coordinates, but with the emergence of commercial Non-Earth Imagery (NEI), how can “traditional ground” GEOINTers Build a Secure Tomorrow Together with these critical datasets? Attendees of this exciting and visual lightning talk can expect to learn about NEI, the emerging imagery data standards and the exploitation and analysis of the data with tools such as BAE Systems’ SOCET GXP advanced geospatial intelligence software. GEOINT Symposium Panel

Panel: Advancing Hybrid and Multi-Cloud in Modern IT Environments

Panel participant: Keith Barber, Director of Strategy and Engagements
Wednesday May 21, 12:30 – 1:15pm, Government Hub, Exhibit Hall

This panel will discuss the continued journey to find innovative solutions to provide critical, time-sensitive GEOINT data “at the edge.” In an age of proliferated constellations and ubiquitous sensors providing a deluge of data, warfighters and decision-makers require creative advances in cloud architectures to assure decision advantage over our adversaries. The panel will emphasize the need for scalable, resilient, and edge-capable cloud solutions that include emerging technologies such as hybrid cloud systems, data prioritization algorithms, and tactical edge compute.
