* Get a head start on the technical program by attending GXP boot camp. This full-day session will lay the foundation for the rest of the conference by providing a comprehensive overview of GXP’s product capabilities catalog. GXP engineers and subject matter experts will be on hand to demonstrate SOCET GXP, GXP Xplorer, GXP WebView, GXP InMotion, and GXP OpsView. Sample scenarios include the use of product search tools and methods, as well as the creation of image and video products. In addition to guided group instruction, you will also have the opportunity to further explore each product at your own pace.

Workshop Descriptions


  • Workshop 1 – Successful mission planning through advanced video exploitation

    Through a detailed demonstration of a critical intelligence situation, attendees will learn how to utilize the GXP InMotion Server for strategic mission planning along with the GXP InMotion Desktop for advanced Full Motion Video (FMV) exploitation. End-to-end video exploitation will be discussed in-depth through the use of GXP Xplorer, the GXP InMotion Video Analysis Suite, and SOCET GXP.

  • Workshop 2 – Merging and exploitation of geospatial intelligence from disparate data sources

    Discover how GXP solutions can easily merge data from terrestrial, aerial, satellite, and FMV sources into a common view (including background reference imagery and content overlays) for rapid change detection and enhanced situational awareness. This session will demonstrate how GXP Xplorer can be used to discover multiple data sources over the same geographic area while highlighting photogrammetric techniques and advanced mensuration in SOCET GXP to ensure data alignment and accuracy.

  • Workshop 3 – Movement Intelligence (MOVINT) solutions: track analysis and correlation

    Learn how GXP’s Tracking Analytics Software Suite (TASS) and additional MOVINT tools leveraged through SOCET GXP and GXP WebView can analyze Motion GEOINT (including FMV, Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI), Ground Motion Target Indicator (GMTI) and Automatic Identification Systems (AIS)), and solve critical intelligence problems.

  • Workshop 4 – Expediting the observation and activity reporting workflow

    Learn how GXP solutions provide automation for object based production workflows, record structured observations about objects and activities into multiple databases, and allow for visualization and analysis of observations across your enterprise.

  • Workshop 5 – Rapid product generation using GXP software solutions

    Attendees will learn how to efficiently and effectively develop a wide variety of geospatial intelligence products through the visualization and exploitation of data from multiple sources. The discussion will include 3-D modeling outputs, as well as how GXP Xplorer can be utilized to rapidly disseminate completed geospatial products.

  • Workshop 6 – Effective configuration of the GXP Platform

    Extensive configuration options exist upon installation of the GXP Platform. This workshop will cover many of these options for managing your geospatial and temporal data including synchronization between GXP Xplorer servers, GXP metrics, user and group management, services, plug-ins, user interface, security protocols, and much more! Come prepared with questions for our panel of experts as well as your ideas on how we can continue to improve your experience.

  • Workshop 7 – Learn from the experts: the GXP Application Programming Interface (API)

    Targeted toward developers and system integrators, this session details how GXP Xplorer and SOCET GXP can be customized to specific program needs. Real world examples will be discussed as attendees learn about customization options while receiving detailed guidance on implementation. Note: while presented at a relatively high level, this workshop is not for the standard user as moderate system integration and/or programming experience is recommended.

  • Workshop 8 – Advanced targeting with GXP WebView (US Only; CACs required)

    Attendees will learn how to perform geopositioning workflows using GXP WebView with Targeting and the Common Geospositioning Service (CGS). This workshop will illustrate how to use GXP Xplorer to search for imagery over a given target area and then use that imagery for the geopositioning workflow. We will demonstrate image resection, image registration, DPPDB geopositioning, Single Image Geopositioning (SIG), Multiple Image Geopositioning (MIG), and product generation from either GXP WebView or the CGS interface.

  • Workshop 9 – Best practices in 3-D exploitation

    Learn how the 3D Multiport enables visualization and exploitation of terrain and imagery data to generate complex 3-D models, and explore the various ways to generate 3-D building models from manual extraction to fully automated methods such as Automatic Feature Extraction and Automatic Terrain Generation (including exploitation of LiDAR data).

  • Workshop 10 – Security operations and crisis management

    Participants will discover how GXP solutions, including GXP OpsView, deliver operational planning and real-time mission and incident response capabilities. We will explore the various ways users can build collaborative, shareable graphics and push annotated content into the hands of field operators for execution. In addition, participants will learn how on-scene and off-site command remain involved and up-to-date as they communicate, task, execute and report from any location via a Common Operating Picture (COP).

  • Special session – GEOINT technology advancements for Coalition Mission Partners

    This session will highlight the recent improvements in GMTI, FMV, 3-D modeling, and other associated workflows and provide a forum to share recent improvements in GXP user tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP’s).
