GXP and Unseenlabs

Operational insights through radio frequency (RF) detections

RF sensing + geospatial intelligence

BAE Systems’ GXP and Unseenlabs combine advanced RF sensing with geospatial intelligence to deliver a powerful, end-to-end workflow for maritime and multi-domain awareness. By connecting space-based RF detection to exploitation and analysis, this partnership enables faster identification, tracking, and understanding of activity in contested and denied environments.

Unseenlabs is a pioneer in space-based RF detection, providing global maritime domain awareness through its constellation of satellites. By detecting and geolocating radio frequency emissions from vessels at sea, Unseenlabs delivers persistent, all-weather, day-and-night monitoring capabilities, including the ability to identify non-cooperative or “dark” vessels operating without AIS (Automatic Identification System).

GXP, a leader in geospatial intelligence and PED workflows, delivers advanced tools for data ingestion, exploitation, analysis, and dissemination. GXP enables analysts to fuse RF detections with other intelligence sources to generate timely, actionable insight.

Integrated value: From detection to decision

Together, GXP and Unseenlabs provide a seamless workflow that transforms RF signals into operational intelligence:

  • Detect and track non-cooperative targets
Unseenlabs’ RF detections can be ingested into GXP, enabling analysts to identify vessels operating without AIS and monitor suspicious or anomalous behavior across maritime environments.
  • Fuse RF with multi-INT data
RF geolocation data can be correlated with FMV, EO/IR imagery, AIS, and other sources within GXP, providing a richer operational picture and improving confidence in detections and tracks.
  • Enhance maritime domain awareness
Persistent RF monitoring expands visibility into denied or contested areas where traditional sensors are limited, supporting missions such as counter-illicit trafficking, IUU fishing detection, and strategic surveillance.
  • Accelerate analysis and dissemination
Integrated workflows allow analysts to rapidly exploit RF detections, generate intelligence products, and share insights across operational teams and command structures.

Mission impact

The result is a more comprehensive and resilient intelligence capability, enabling operators and analysts to detect, understand, and act on maritime activity with greater speed and confidence, even in environments where traditional tracking methods fall short.
