GXP Xplorer^® Mobile System Requirements

Suggested hardware and OS requirements for 50 users of GXP Xplorer, GXP WebView, and GXP Pixel Streaming

• Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7 (64-bit)
• 16 GB RAM (or more)
• 16 CPU cores (or more)

These suggestions are for a medium-scale server. Configuration needs may vary based on quantities of data files/data source connections and concurrent operations such as image streaming, uploads/downloads, data changes, and data processing services. Please contact us to discuss your specific configuration.

Disk space requirements for GXP Xplorer/GXP WebView server

• GXP Xplorer software disk space: 10 GB for installation and TEMP space
• GXP Xplorer Catalog disk space: approximately 250 KB per file to be cataloged
• GXP WebView image cache size: approximately 1/3 the on-disk size for zoom levels, plus 200MB per streamed file of temporary space, controllable by a configuration setting
• Web browser requirements for users of GXP Xplorer and GXP WebView

Supported (tested) Web browsers*:

• Internet Explorer 9
• Mozilla Firefox (ESR): 17.xesr and 24.xesr
• Mozilla Firefox (Rapid Release) version: 26
• Google Chrome version: v33.0.1750.154 m
• Mobile devices

GXP Xplorer Mobile app supported devices and operating system versions*:

• iPads with iOS 5.0 and later, Android tablets with Android 3.2 and later
• GXP Xplorer Snap app supported devices and operating system versions*:
• iPods, iPhones with iOS 5.0 and later, Android phones with Android 3.2 and later

*These versions are minimum requirements. Later versions are also expected to work.
